About Me
Beverly Townsend is a gospel contemporary Christian singer-songwriter from Inkster, MI.
She has released 2 albums, including her latest one, I Came To Praise Him. Singing since the age of 5 she was influenced by her upbringing listening to her Father sing. Her passion for songwriting has created many uplifting, powerful songs that reflect her desire to share the love of Jesus with everyone. She also shares her personal Testimony and how God's grace saved her life. She has performed in several musical groups from R&B bands to Gospel choirs. She received the Lydia Award (A strong builder of Music in the community) presented to her by the Late Dr. Ortheia Barnes for her first album entitled "Victory."
October 2024 she released her newest single entitled, "He Who Walked On Water" a powerful song about the miracles that Jesus did.
